NIGHT SHIFT CAN RAISE RISK OF EARLY MENOPAUSE

WOMEN WHO WORK IN NIGHT SHIFTS ARE AT RISK OF EARLY MENOPAUSE .

A report says that women  who work in night shifts ,even occasionally ,are at an increased risk of early ,menopause which can be heighten the possibility of developing cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis and memory problems find a new study.
The study showed women who had done continued night shifts for 20 months or more in the preceding two years had a 9% increased risk of early menopause, if they rotating night shift more than 20 years the risk rose to 73%.

What is menopause 

menopause is defined as the point in time when menstrual cycle permanently cease due to the natural depletion of ovarian oocytes from aging .
It marks the permanent end of fertility and the average age of menopause is 51 years.

Symptoms of menopause :-

  1. Severely reduced functioning of the ovaries.
  2. lower level of reproduction hormones growth :- estrogen 
  3. Psychological change (such as Mood saving , depression and difficult concentration );-insomnia
  4. painfull intercourse 
  5. skin changes 
  6. lower androgen levels
  7. vaginal bleeding 

Lateral medical problem 

menopause cause bone fracture , cardiovascular disease.hypertension and depression.

Treatment :-

  1.  take balance diet regularly
  2. Regular weight bearing exercise 
  3. vitamin D and and calcium 
  4. elimination of cigarette and alcohol can help lower your risk of osteoporosis . 

Significance :- An early menopause could also come from the stress of working late at night ,as stress hormones are believed to disrupt sex hormones like oestrogen . this could also increase the chance that a woman stops ovulating , AQ to study published in the journal human reproductions.
