INDIA AND RUSSIA ARE ON LAST STAGE OF MULTI-BILLION AGREEMENT FOR AK-103 ASSAULT RIFLES
India and Russia are close to concluding an inter governmental agreement (IGA) for multi -billion deal to locally bulk manufacturing AK-103 -assault-riffle . they are slated to be bulk produced in India with technology transfer . Deal signed by victor N .kladov ,director international cooperation and regional policy of rostec state corporation .
India has signed several multi-dollar defence deals with Russia in the last couple of year and more on pipeline .
that's an business negotiations between Kalashnikov from our side and India ordinance factory board (OFB).
The army has recently signed 72000-assault-riffle from sig sauer of the U.s and another tender of 93895 close quarter battle .
WHY INDIA BUYING AK-103
The AK-103 assault rifle is the third generation of the Kalashnikovs , an upgrade of the AK47 and AKM.
